Starting a Game
  1. The Emulator works like a Super Nintendo so lets go through where all the buttons are and what they do.....

  2. You can either watch the short movie or sit through it. I watched it but if you want to juss get to the game, hit start (Enter) That will bring you to the start page.

  3. Starting a New Game - Use the Down arrow to select 'new game'. Then hit the A button (the letter X on your keyboard) and that will execute your selection. To continue a game, select the option for that and pick your saved game.

Game Facts and Important Things to know
Game Play - Use the directional buttons to move the active character. To talk to other characters in the game, Use the letter X on your keyboard as the A button on the Game controler. You start off as Serena (Sailor Moon) and later on in the game you control the different scouts. Get used to fighting alot of battles and hearing the scouts being called by their Japanese names. (Serena is Usagi, Rini is Chibi-Usa, ect...) If you get confused, look at the character bios here at THFSMF. I have the scout names listed for you in thier profiles. Walking around town is pretty easy. The map layout of the city is easy to navigate so no fear! Its a good thing to walk around the city and become familar with the setting before you actually do what Luna tells you becasue after you start the first battle there is monsters all over the city.

Fighting - When in a battle, you have a battle bar and a options meter. The battle bar displays the scouts you have to fight with, and the options meter is what options you have during a battle.

The Options Meter has alot of choices that you need to be aware of (from left to right), Attack - Costs no power jewels to attack but does lesser damage. Special Attack - Launches a special attack. Each scout has its own array of special attacks. Special Attacks do cost a specific number of power jewels so use sparingly. Link Techniques - You can link scouts together to form a 3rd type of special attack. These attacks cost a small amount of powerjewels from each scout participating. Up to 3 scouts can be linked and only certain link combos work. Beware you dont put together attacks that cancel out each other (water & fire). Formation Attacks - Different attack formations allow for harder attack or higher defence. Change the attack for better odds in battle. Item - Use recovery items or the moon cup to transform into super sailor moon. Defend - Block an attack from the enemy. Escape - Run away from battle.
